Global Chip Sales Hit a Record High in January
According to foreign media reports, the US Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) said in a statement on the evening of March 5 that January chip sales reached 37.6 billion US dollars, and has grown for 18 consecutive months. The association said chip sales in January increased 22.7% from a year earlier to a record 37.6 billion. Semiconductor sales in the United States recorded the largest year-on-year increase of 40.6%, followed by Europe by 19.9% and Asia Pacific / all other regions by 18.6%. In January, China's chip sales reached 12 billion US dollars, an increase of 18.3%.
