Global automakers are bullish about the future of China's electric car market
The auto industry is at an important moment
in its development, and most auto brands are starting to put electric vehicles
at the heart of future plans. As countries and cities around the world strive
to meet stringent emissions targets, they are also starting to identify
electric vehicles as a way to achieve a cleaner future in the car industry.
Manufacturers are expanding their business.
Ford motor co said on December 5 it plans
to launch 15 all-electric or plug-in electric hybrid vehicles in China by 2025.
Volkswagen said it would work with its joint venture partners to launch 25 electric vehicles in the Chinese market between 2020 and 2025, with nearly $12 billion in funding. Volkswagen has plans to launch 15 electric vehicles in China by 2020.
Daimler, the maker of mercedes-benz and Smart cars, said at the guangzhou auto show last month that it plans to significantly increase production investment in electric vehicles, especially in battery production.
China has become the world's largest market
for electric vehicles, topping the top spot in the world's largest electric car
market, ahead of more developed markets such as the United States and Europe.
Not only that, China is also the world's largest producer of electric motors,
and China produces almost all parts for electric motors. Chinese companies even
mined the precious metals needed to make tiny magnets, many of which require
tiny magnets.
China's policymakers are trying to balance
the sharp demand for cars with the country's serious pollution problems. The
Chinese government has introduced policies to promote electric vehicles, such
as a big city car purchase restriction, domestic electric cars and plug-in
hybrid vehicles (PHEV). With the further development of events, plus electric
cars in China will take effect in 2019, under the new carbon credit projects of
electric cars will be more than the plug-in hybrid credit score, global
manufacturers have entered the Chinese market.
